March 17 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Happy St. Patrick's Day. It's been a good day. I'm dressed in green. I bought a long-sleeved tunic dress earlier this month from Amazon. It fits perfectly. I dressed it up with gold and green shamrock necklaces and a gold shamrock cross necklace my mother bought many years ago from QVC. I also have a pair of green camo leggings. This year I'm prepared. It helps that I'm Irish from my mother.
I'm thankful I went to the Y this morning for a good workout in the pool. I skipped the fitness center. I overdid it yesterday. Though I did workout in the community room earlier before canasta on the bike.
I'm thankful I have corned beef, potatoes, and carrots in the crockpot. It will get done eventually. I found it set on 'off' when I got back from canasta.
I'm thankful for canasta with the ladies. Seven of us today. I was with the table of four. My partner and I did well today. I also met her for the second time. The last time was only briefly when she came down to the community room expecting to have game day. I think I saw the calendar said next week. I love the socialness here. I meet someone new almost every day.
Okay, time to get off the computer. No work on the book today. I have a very sore shoulder and the mouse is aggravating it. I might get work done on it later. We'll see.

Jay and I enjoyed another good day, not displaying any displeasure towards one another. Expecting our spouse to be perfect and always get it right is very unfair. Noone is always on track, with everything they do. My health is improving, with decreased amount of stress!

@kobesbuddy Even sin is normal. At least since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. We can't get away from it.

@just4him A couple that finally chooses to let their spouse be a normal human being. Making mistakes is normal, sinning isn't.

That's a productive day all the same. I hope you feel better.
I'm thankful for good weather, and the simi-productive day I've had. Decided to finally wash my hair, but still yeah.

Sounds like a good St. Patrick's day. I think I am part Irish too, though I can't be 100% sure since I don't know anything about my "father". But I am also part German. Hope your shoulder feels better

Thankful for another beautiful day and that I was able to get down the road to Walgreens so that I could use my healthy benefit card to get what was needed since sis was off and we could get there and back in less than 30 minutes so James isn't left alone (sis is going into a six day sstraight work stretch so I will be stuck because except for Dollar Genetal would leave me being gone too long)
