March 18 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today didn't go the way I planned. It was supposed to be laundry day. Didn't happen.
I'm thankful for going to the Y this morning before the snow started and arriving home just as the rain began.
I'm thankful for the exercise I got in the pool, fitness center, and exercise class. I'm feeling all that exercise now. I needed it after my overindulgence yesterday.
I'm thankful for receiving payment for the books I ordered for a neighbor this morning. The books arrived via UPS yesterday but weren't there when I checked the mail yesterday. It was nice to see them this morning.
I'm thankful for the hour and a half nap I got this morning. After all that exercise, I needed it.
Okay, that's it for today. I'm going to need to figure out how to dictate on the computer. My shoulder is still bad. I planned to be here longer. I'm losing notifications daily because I can't be here long.
I'm also thankful for the snow, in case you missed that comment above. It snowed for most of the day. I got a couple of pictures of this late winter storm.
And lest I forget, I'm thankful that all the sodium I ate in the food I consumed yesterday, didn't have an effect on my legs and ankles. No swelling.

As you might expect, I liked the view from your old house more. They reminded me of my days in Iowa, which were good. The pine trees remind me of California and Montana. Feh. I am IN California and have a cabin in Montana. But I'm glad you got snow. And then the rain washed it away.
I am thankful that I got to see my friend Stevie Coyle in concert last night. I am thankful that I found a purse on the floor as I was leaving and gave it to the folks at the table where they were selling t-shirts. Someone is going to be anxious and then relieved. I am thankful that I get to go to Guitar Center today and get paid for trying to sign up students. I am thankful that my first cup of coffee tastes good.

I know you like that view better than this one. The trees are nice, but I agree, the house across the street on the other view was better. I'm enjoying the trees now as I watch the various birds flying in and out of them. I think a morning dove is building a nest.
I'm glad you have so much to be thankful for. I'm sure the person who lost the purse was happy to get it back. The first cup of coffee is always enjoyable. At least that's what I've been told by coffee drinkers. I've been drinking a lot of tea lately.
I'm so glad you saw your friend in concert. I'm sure it made your day.

I'm glad you got your workout this morning and of course, the snow on the ground:) It'd wonderful your legs and ankles didn't swell, awesome news! I shouldn't have bragged about the changes here, we had a tough conversation this morning, I was shocked. I never once responded in unkind words, agreed with everything he said:) A fight? Nope. Satan hates me, Valerie!

@just4him He has outbursts of anger, why? I don't know. It happens, no matter what. I had a beautiful week with the Lord, peace flooding from the inside. He flies off the handle at times. 31 years, it's hard to live with.

Thankful for another day and a peaceful time to do my online work, I keep thinking of taking a day off just to watch movies and things but somehow as long as the days pass by peacefully I enjoy working on my laptop, I hope you have a great weekend,

I am glad that you got some more snow before winter finally decides to leave. It rained this morning and l felt like simply relaxing with a book. Then a couple of hours later the sun cane out and l felt energized. So l am thankful for the rain and the sun.
