Neighbor Had Heart Ultrasound

Visited with my neighbor that lost his sweet Oreo dog yesterday. He had his yearly cardiac appointment today. So I drove him.
He cried while telling about what happened with Oreo. So hard when a man cries. She had a seizure before she died. Not sure of all the details but she was on medicine for about a week. That is all I know. Wasn't a good time to ask questions.
He had a heart attack a few years ago and bypass surgery. Important to keep his follow-up appointments. They did an ultrasound in the office. And need to replace one of his valves soon. He will wait for now but the doctor said it needs to be done fairly soon.
Glad to have visited some with him. He knows to let me know if he needs anything. I also keep in touch with his daughter.

Hope all goes well with your neighbor and it was especially nice that you took him to his appointment. So sad about him losing his beloved pet Oreo

@CarolDM I can imagine how sad he feels. I thought we were going to have to put our Gizmo to sleep last week and I was so upset.

As I hit the big 65, I was given an appointment for an ultra sound of my aorta artery, checking for an aneurysm, and while we were there we had a look around, I was trying to guess what I could see on the screen! Happy to say all is tickity boo

Bless his heart. So much to experience with losing his wife, then Oreo, and now more heart problems. He's blessed to have a good friend like you.

I can imagine how depressing it must have been for him. Last night, Danie and I were having our alone moment without Yuki and Volo. She laid her head on my chest and stared at my eyes. When a dog stares right at your eyes, it's their way of saying I love you. I hugged Danie tightly and gave her lots o kisses telling her how much I love her.

It's tough to have cardiac surgery when you're elderly. Even anesthesia can be a problem; but I hope he gets his surgery done soon.

The poor man has gone through so much, with a lot of healing to do. I truly hope all goes well for him with his future surgery. Like I always say, you are a wonderful neighbor - he and his family surely appreciate all you do for him.
