The Unexpected Thing or Event In Your Life

March 22, 2022 9:53pm CST
Hi All~ Hope you guys are doing great in your part of the world be it day or night. For today's discussion, I would like to discuss or talk about the unexpected thing or event which has happened in your lives before. What is the main event or thing which has caught you by surprise or unexpectedly happened? I would say for myself, the unexpected thing for me was when I lost my gramps at an early age; like 7 or 8. I was really close to him, so for him to suddenly be gone like that felt like I have lost an important role model in my life. It made an impact when we were younger, I guess. So, how about you? What was the unexpected thing or event that has happened to you before? It doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. You can also state a very good unexpected thing or event as well. Happy responding, guys and have a nice day!

The moat unexpected event that happened was on Monday evening when the officials of the housing authority gave my relatives and myself two weeks to leave our rental home no later than March 28 since the damages from Hurricanes Laura and Delta damaged the property to the point that the houses in the area will have to be torn down and rebuilt. The good news is that my relatives found a replacement home on Friday March 18. We are in the process of moving our materials this week to be at the next house by this weekend.

The most unexpected thing would probably be my grandchildren. It's not that I didn't think I would have any but I've been blessed with ten.

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the recovery from my Traumatic Brain-Injury---not just 'that it happened,' but I'm recovering in an unexpected way. No, I'd say "the main thing that unexpectedly happened" was 'getting cast in a local play' ... it's happened a couple of times. Once when I was just finishing elementary-school. Getting into that play introduced me to 'the theatre-geek clique,' which has enriched my life in more ways than I can list! That was the important one. The second one was kind of a reminder why I'm not "a member of" the theatre-geek clique

@ihasaquestion Not lately. I know you're joking; but lately, I'm more interactive with Twitter & Facebook ... and I've always preferred BlogSpot (a.k.a. Blogger) because you can hyperlink any/all the words you type and can embed videos etc.

I suddenly lost my father of a heart attack, he was young and he was healthy and no one could expect that such a horrible event could happen.

There was an unexpected thing that happened to me in 2010 when learned my seaman bf has a live-in partner in Manila. That was December 31 and about to meet the new year. I felt my heart broken in two. While waiting for new year, I opened the windows and looed at the brimming stars with clouds of pain, so suddenly I got my phone and texted someone I do not know. I just replace the number opposite to my cellphone number.. I was doing it unconsciously, then when new year strikes , my cellphone rings . I answered and the voice was coming from a man. he greeted me a happy new year which I replied . He said who am I why I texted him. I was tongue tied. I said sorry and that was not intentional. To make the story short, I forgot the betrayal of my boyfriend and embrace a new tomorrow. But , it's the same, we were not meant for each other. He was also a seaman from Baguio city, Philippines. he wanted to come to my place in Cagayan de Oro city, but someone told me, his cousin that the guy I met one new year event has a girlfriend .Goodbye love.

Lots of good and bad in my life. We had a stove delivered and the delivery people would not hook it up. So we had to wait a few more days to get someone else to hook it up. All that was bad to go through.

Oh gosh, that's quite bad, really. I hate when that happens too.
