Heroes come in all shapes and professions since they are willing to do what is right when a person is in trouble getting beat up by a stranger who decided to attack a nine year old girl in New York City for reason other than picking on someone who is not his size. Neil Johnson who is a doorman at The Plaza Hotel in New York City witnessed a madman named Raheem Ramsarran who allegedly punched a nine year old girl on the left side of her head in front of her mom Yelena Conteras Moreno who was visiting New York City with her daughter as a tourist from Miami. Neil who I do not know if he himself is a parent or grandparent stepped in and managed to stop Raheem from beating the girl for no reason since witnesses said that Raheem was acting like a madman yelling at people along with another man in the crowd held Raheem until the police arrived to take him into custody after Neil called the police from his cellphone. The first responders came to the aid of the beating victim who was crying due to the pain from the beating she took. Her mother told the first responders that her daughter is okay and did not need to be taken to the hospital for treatment. Yelena is very upset that someone who acted like a madman who punch her daughter for no good reason at all. She has no plans to return to New York City ever again but she is grateful for Neil and his partner for making sure that the madman was held down until the police took him to jail. The last person that any of us would expect to play the hero of savior would be a doorman at a hotel. Neil will simply say he was just doing his job.

Oh gosh..glad that the girl was okay. Perhaps the man was under the influence or something.

The belief from the eyewitness is that the man who attacked the girl had thought of killing himself.

You are right since the doorman did his duty and he insists he is not a hero.

I agree with you since Neil insists he was just doing his work and he is not a hero.

Very sad to hear about this little girl. So much evil and hatred in the world.

I agree with you on this matter since the young girl did not do anything to deserve a beating from that guy.

That is very sad indeed. That poor child could be affected for a very long time after such an experience.

I have heard the horror stories of children who were abused as children that the emotional scars last a long time.

It is a sad world, sometimes relieved by acts of kindness and the occasional putting yourself in harms way. You have wonder who would attack a young girl

It is a shame that one rotten apple who acted like a madman would a little girl at random.

That was awful for the mother too. To be honest if that was my child l would have been like an animal defending its young.

i know what you mean since that bully should know better than hitting children in a public area.
