The forecast was wrong and it was sunny and warm, so for the first time since 2019 I took a trip to the City.
I wanted to walk and photo the old city walls and started off at the Barbican. I took a little wander around and had a slow lunch of ham and Emmental on sourdough, with tea.
An excellent day and I got started on my city walls project.

@Tampa_girl7 I am a bit limited when it comes to cheese. I mainly stick to cheddar and Emmental and a few of the French soft cheeses

@CarolDM Me too. You can find them all over the city. I do like to discover them. One of my favourites is on top of Temple Tube Station. I have used the station for years, but didn't know about the roof and the view of the Thames and the South Bank

Luckily, a day or two off usually fixes the aches and pains.
