Yesterday's Flea Market Run

Yesterday (Sunday afternoon), I managed to get a Flea Market run in. I had been trying to get over there for several weeks now.
I had a box filled with stuff to go into the booth and had to straighten up there. I dusted some and hung up some clothes that I found on the floor. I guess someone wanted the hangers badly. We have extra hangers in the hall for vendors. But I guess some just have to be idiots.
I realized last night that I forgot to bring the toys. Hubby had put new batteries in them for me and they were ready to go. But, no, I forgot. I'm going to get started on another group of things to be taken over there because I need to go back.
I had sent my hubby a text while I was at the flea market asking him if he wanted a garden hoe that was there with an aluminum handle and some tie wraps in various sizes. He has asked me to see it they had any before I left. Well, the return messages were delayed and the first message I got was an "I'll pass for now." So I didn't get anything and headed home.
I got home and he asked where his garden hoe was. I told him that I didn't get it because he said "PASS". I had to show him the messages and how they arrived. So another trip to the flea market is planned soon!!

Hope you get the garden hoe next time.
I miss visiting flea markets and surplus shops. Most closed down during the pandemic.

Yes, a lot of businesses closed here as well. This flea market stayed open but did require masks and social distancing inside. As soon as mask restrictions were lifted, the flea market expanded. That tells me that business was good during the last two years. It is huge so not crowded while shopping but usually a line to check out.

We used to have a flea market here in the fairgrounds ages ago. My grandfather used to sell at it.

Yep and he insisted he was still right. I said no. Look at what I was seeing. So we will be going back to the flea market later this week. That should settle it. Hope his hoe is there. It was the last one with aluminum/fiberglass...whatever handle.

We are doing this more and more often now. Making a decision then changing our mind then not really knowing which way we decided.
