My Friend's Dogs Are Best Buddies

My friend I talk about often, from my childhood, has two dogs. They are brothers. About one year old and one of them weighs almost 100 pounds already. She is not sure of the breed. So she sent off a DNA kit to find out for sure. Her partner cooks for these dogs and spoils them like babies. Very cool to see them sleeping together so cozy. These little things make me smile and I am so happy these dogs have a home. Hello to Hunter and Tracker. Friend shared photo of her dogs. Also.. they have the most beautiful blue eyes.

They look mixed to me but I see some pit bull. What an adorable photo of them cuddling.

I hope not too much bigger. But she thinks they are a Lab / Husky mix. So who knows.

Regardless of their breed, if she loves them and they are loyal and loving back, she's got something inmeasureable. They are awfully good looking dogs.

Dogs bond with other dogs, it's for security and to lessen any loneliness. Being brothers, that bond is from birth, I'm sure it's an even stronger friendship. They appear as a breed of bulldog.

@CarolDM I am so glad they get along very well. So did she find out what breed they are? I can understand why you would smile. I would love to have seen their blue eyes. Sounds like they are very important to you too.

Blue eyes aren't common in dogs although I have seen some pics of Malamutes with blue eyes. I really like when pups are cuddly like that.

She told me the breed that has them. I think she said a lab husky mix.

Aren’t they sweet!!!

Freckles and Goldie got along terrifically, even though they weren’t “related” (any more than being woofing children). Love to see the pets cuddling.
