This is a good reason to plant sunflowers / myLot

My friend from UK told me that he was going to plant sunflowers in the garden as a support for Ukraine. The national flower of Ukraine is sunflower and I really think this is a good idea. Sometimes we may not do more things for Ukrainians but at least this is a nice expression to show our views.

@youless And those flowers are so beautiful. This is a photo I took of one of my sunflowers in the garden, it was taller than I am.

A good idea. I have not planted it before. But I think I'll give it a try. Can this flower be planted in the rain?

@youless I was just doing a bit of searching on how to grow sunflowers. They like warm weather. The rainy season may not be suitable. They need 80-120 days to set seeds. It's been quite a while, isn't it :)

@tkonlinevn I don't know. I think Ukraine has cold winter but it seems sunflowers still grow so well there.
