My last two posts have been much too serious and I thought it was about time to post something that would bring a smile to all y'all's faces. So, here is a photo of Sophie helping her mommy load the dishwasher.

She is a source of great pleasure and enormous frustration. We've always had sporting dogs - who are mostly laid back and want to please. Apparently, herding breeds are high-strung and a bit on the narcissistic side.

@JudyEv My sister's horse is pretty laid back now that he's older. My wife had a horse for a while that was a neurotic psychotic 1/2 thoroughbred. She placed him with a caretaker and no one rides him now.

@DWDavis Horse breeds all have different personalities too. Some are laid-back and others more highly strung. And individuals within breeds have varying traits too of course - as do dogs.

Thats no way to wash a dog but love the idea. The dish washer will break Dogs seem to be rough when that slippery wet stuff gets in their eye's Screw it , I wish people had the pleasure of how funny dogs are. A Treasure to the world indeed.

Sophie is a fun-loving, happy puppy and loves to play. She has more energy than both my wife and I combined. And poor old Ace doesn't know what to think of her.

She loves helping her people around the house. You should see her when we vacuum. Sophie barks at the vacuum cleaner as if she's trying to herd it.

Aww, ain’t that cute? Sophie knows you used to have to “rinse” or “pre-rinse” the dishes before you stuck ‘em in the dishwasher, so she’s there to offer her services to lick the food off!
