Good day myLot peeps! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. This was my meal for earlier, grilled sisig wraps. For those who are unaware, sisig is a popular bar chow here in the Philippines. Sisig is made from chopped pig cheeks (or pig ears), with diced onions, chili pepper, and topped with egg (mayonnaise, if you aren't a purist) and usually served in a hot plate. Wish that was the case for my meal but it ain't so. I bought grilled sisig and pre-packaged wraps. I spread some mayonnaise in the wrap, put some grilled sisig in the middle of the wrap, and then seasoned with more lime juice, and hot sauce. I had some root beer and donuts for dessert. To say that I was happy with my meal was an understatement. What is everyone having today?

I had fried noodles, onions and ground beef with spices on it for breakfast this morning. Pretty says she's planning on making grilled cheese sandwiches around 4 or 5 pm for our lunch. It sounds good to me.

Sisig wrap must be delicious. I love homemade wraps but have not tried with Sisig. Thanks for the idea.

My favorite food too but without the mayonnaise as I am not fond of that spread. I usually like to eat them with rice. The picture looks yummy.

Thanks. Some purist of sisig do not like mayo with their sisig.

Right now I am making eggplant parmigiana to eat tonight at about 8 PM---right now dipping pretzels in salsa! I like the 'sound' of sisgig but not as a wrap!

@allen0187 I had a cup of soup and Vince had toasted tuna sandwiches. I'm not sure it was delicious but it was nice enough.
