A Phone Call At 3:50 AM

United States
April 6, 2022 4:30am CST
The phone rang, and it scared me so bad, that I jumped out of bed quickly to answer. When, I looked at the number it was Jim. Glad for that he's still under medication, telling me that he was in a church lounge. Said he hasn't seen anyone in quite awhile. I told him I was sure he hadn't at that time of morning. So now, I'll try to get back to sleep just hope I can.

Glad it was only the medication talking. Any call in the middle of the night is so frightening.

@popciclecold My dad had some strong antibiotics like that a couple of times. They can mess with your mind

This would scare me too. I use to put my phone in silent mode when I sleep, but if it's emergency it's good to have your phone in normal mode so people can reach you.

He was lonely I'll bet. I can't imagine how hard all this is on him as well as on you.

Medicine talking, since he's been in the hospital, he's been in a church lounge, L.A, and Florida.
