Americans are good people / myLot

Americans get bashed alot for various reasons, but most are generous and good hearted people. Our national news a few weeks ago, discussed a candle company based in Wisconsin run by a Ukranian family, who donate 100 percent of the proceeds of their special Ukranian candles to the families in Ukraine. I tried to order one before, and the website was down due to volume. I went again, and they said due to the overwhelming response there is a 12 week turn around time for the Ukranian candles. I just messaged them on FB, how to order. Lots of positive uplifiting messages and comments for the company. It makes me proud actually.

Of course most of the American are good people as in any nation, there is always some bad apples. But this company is super!

Yes, well they are all Ukraniansns and I am sure they have family there.

The first day a company collected money for the Ukrainian family, they collected 48 million dollars from private donations here in Switzerland (Switzerland has a population of 8 million).

@LadyDuck People do like to help when they can. Most of the Afghanistan refugees came to Virinia, and extensive supplies were alleged for them at the libraries.

@snowy22315 - Our Mayor offered 30 free apartments to the Ukrainian families. The apartments were empty, he asked to the population to donate what we could, from furniture to dishes, pots, pans, everything. After 8 days they had so much that they had to ask to stop donating. I had already two additional boxes full of things. I keep them should another village ask for the same.

I wonder if there are nations who have bad people only. Every nation has good or bad people and it's not because of their nationality. There are so many factors why there are good and bad people in the world.

That is true, but if you look at the country who has helped others throughout the world for years, the primary example of this is the United States.

@snowy22315 Well yes, because the USA is known to be the land of milk and honey. Because you have enough money to help other countries. If our country has that much, we could too. Even if we don't, we still try.
