I thought I had become blind all of a sudden.

Today I turned on the laptop and everything was dark. I confess that I have imagination and that works against me sometimes. So I thought that it could be glaucoma (a couple of the people I love have it). I had just got an eye doctor appointment but I did not know if the place where I was going had the machine to see the eye pressure. Time goes slowly when you are about to get blind. So you have more time to think. I got up and placed the laptop in several places ( with and without the sun towards the screen). None worked. I know that glasses are useless if you have a big eye problem. I have 2 friends with them but both have another person who drives when they go anywhere. But I did not give up. Decades ago I met a very wise man that taught me that "the dead cannot beat the living" So I looked at the screen and clicked. And clicked. AND CLICKED. Suddenly there was a line with a dot and you could move the cursor to the left and to the right. And there was light!!! The screen began to show colors. I was not blind. (Anyway I have to change my glasses). I turned on the sound at the laptop and listened to the very best Mexican rancheras. Friends, I´m happy!!!
