I normally do not like to share on this site strange stories about snakes that enter the home of a resident but in this case it is interesting since the snake that was inside of a home of a male resident in Chula Vista California which happened about a week ago is interesting to share here.
A male homeowner who did not give out his name reported seeing a seven foot Vietnamese blue beauty snake coiled up behind a cushion which of course scared him to the point where he called So-Cal Rattlesnake Removal to get the snake which is not venomous and natives of Southeast Asia out of his home.
Alex Trejo who is the owner of the company was able to remove the snake out of the home of the person who called his company to remove the snake safely.
The snake was taken by Alex to the local animal hospital to be treated for a lung infection since the snake is out of his area where he feels at home.
The fun begins for Alex to find who the owner of the snake is and reunite the reptile to the owner.
Alex did admit the rescue of the Vietnamese blue beauty is very rare.

I would freak out as well if I saw a snake on my furniture as well even though I would not know if they poisonous or not.

Glad someone came and took the snake away, That can be a scary thing, I am sure it was someone's pet and hopefully they will be looking for it,

You are right since beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I wonder how it got into his house, as a couch-surfing snake, though.
He must have left a door open, or a window down, as how else could a large snake like that, crawl under a closed door.
I have trouble with crickets here, and they are a pest, chirping all night under my bed too. They are small enough to creep in under a closed door, or through a window slot, not tightly sealed.

The snake most likely sneaked into the home via an open door.
