First baked bread

China
April 13, 2022 2:43am CST
The first time I baked bread, the taste was ok, but I think I still need to work hard to do better. ?I mix flour with milk and eggs,And yeast.Coat the bread with egg liquid before baking. It may be that the fermentation is not in place, So it's not as good as you think. But I'm still very happy. The picture is my baked bread.

Fresh baked rolls are always nice. I prefer to bake rolls instead of loaves of bread. I have trouble getting the loaves to bake all the way through. *shrug*

They look pretty good, add a bit of sugar to help the fermentation process.

Those look good. To get the right texture, the dough must rise first to double its size. Then it is kneaded and formed into rolls and allowed to rise again before baking.

I know you bake it with an air fryer, so I think at least this result is good already. I don't really suggest to bake the bread with air fryer since there is a big fan in it and the dough can be drier in my opinion. The oven is bigger and it suits to bake the bread much more.

@zhangxueying This is why I have an oven and also air fryer because they can deal with different food.

It's really dry. It's good to eat when it's hot. When it's cold the next day, the surface is very hard. I can only eat it in milk

Nice! How long did you let the bread rise? I'd still eat it because from the picture it looks like it came out pretty good.
