This has been a somewhat rough afternoon. I feel like I have a stomach bug, as in I have had cramps all afternoon.
I made it to church fine, and I also stopped by the store for a few things on my way home. After lunch which was corn dogs and sauerkraut I started having these pains.
I just finished a small glass of ginger ale, which is our go to for unhappy stomachs. Do you have a go to remedy for stomach ailments?.
I worked on cleaning out the refrigerator this afternoon and I moved some plants outside, but I did not do much else.

I have medication for my stomach issues because they’re chronic (IBS and GERD). Chalk antacids tend to help me when there’s no Famotidine around. Hope you feel better quickly!

When I was younger I had some stomach issues from stress. Usually I have a cast iron constitution though. This had to have been a virus. I had a fever.

@GardenGerty — stomach viruses are nasty. I had covid in my gut, not in my lungs. I used to have a cast iron stomach too….now it’s all rusted.

Little Miss was up at 3 a.m. with the same. I haven’t felt well all day. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be okay. Little Miss slept late today and felt much better.

I know getting extra sleep does help afterwards.

Not really weird at all. When I was a child, in ancient history, my doctor would have mom and dad get Coke syrup and give it to me for croup.

Growing up we did 7 UP. Mom said Sprite had too much sugar. As an adult I learned Ginger Ale actually was medicinal.

I find that using an essential oil called Digize works for me all the time.

Ginger can be very soothing, The carbonation seems to help as well.

I eat sauerkraut often, but usually do not have a bad reaction. I think I catch things from my student.

When I was a young adult and had stomach problems mom swore by a shot glass of vodka and black pepper and down the hatch, It seemed to always do the job,

I am not sure I could handle that. I know pepper is very healing.

I believe it was a virus, because I ran a fever. Just a low one.
