The eye doctor gave me lenses.

I will have to buy 2 different pairs of eyes, one to watch TV and the other to read. My friend Alejandra told me to ask for a pair for laptops and to get those with reflexion lenses so that sun doesn´t harm me. The doctor explained that what I had (whatever it was) meant a 20% less of eyesight but that she did not recommend surgery unless I had a visual loss of 80%. I have now the prescription for my glasses. And if I need anything else, the doctor told me to come any moment with no spevcial appointment. I bought bread, muffins and salami nearby. I´m glad it all went well

This is very good, the next time I will also have two pairs, multifocal lenses are expensive and never work well.

@marguicha You were right. My husband had multifocal made for him last September, he spent $ 600 for them and he cannot use those eyeglasses.

can’t you wear bifocals? The bottom for reading and the top of the glasses for distance. That’s what I have.

My uncle had two pairs of eyeglasses. One when he would play the organ and one to see out of.

I wanted a pair to watch TV. I don´t care if that one is nice or ugly. It will stay on the night table.

So that means, you are going to keep changing your lenses for reading and watching TV

I can watch TV with glasses and place them over my head while at the computer. Really reading means no TV.

I have bifocals; and I take them off when I'm reading or on the computer. I'm glad you have your prescriptions now.
