Ben Holstine who is a Shorewood ER nurse is grateful that after he lost his wedding ring at the Estabrook Dog Park on April 8 while he was walking his dog is grateful that Gretchen Fairweather who is a fellow dog walker was able to find the missing ring after her dog found the ring in the ground in the wood chips. When Gretchen saw the wedding ring on the ground with markings that indicate that the wedding ring belonged to someone, she posted the missing ring on social media on the same day where a few hours later, Ben found out that the missing wedding ring was found. Ben met with Gretchen on Monday where she returned the wedding ring to him at the same dog park. Thanks to the power of social media and a concerned person, a missing wedding ring story has a happy ending.

This is cool. Now when someone finds a real diamond or gold ring and return it back to its owner, I will be super impressed.

I know how you feel since I lost my high school ring 43 years ago and it has never been returned.

@DeepizzaguySee. I'm sorry to know that. Have you gotten a new ring ever since?

What a lucky break that he got his ring back so fast. It probably would have been sad if it was lost and never found. Social media does have lots of good uses

You are right since the person who found Ben's ring was nice enough to use social media to help him reunite with his ring.
