I think most everyone knows this song and has felt groovy listening to it. "The 59th Street Bridge Son (Feelin' Groovy)" was written by Paul Simon and recorded by Simon & Garfunkel and is on their 1966 album Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. This bridge is located in my hometown NYC and is also known as the Queensboro Bridge. One popular TV show where the song was featured was The Simpsons Season 6 Episode 25 "Who Shot Mr Burns?" Part One Mr Burns alludes to the song, saying, "Hello lamppost, whatcha knowin'? I've come to watch your power flowin'." It was also in the 1975 comedy-drama "Shampoo" for which Paul Simon composed the original score.

A fun song. The major hit for a band called Harpers Bizarre when they covered it.
