A very smart way to get business in Michigan

I have to get credit where credit is due for a garden store that is located in Whitmore Lake Michigan that is using a marketing idea that happened in the middle of April by giving away five gallons of gasoline by first register before checking out of the Grow Green store and make a purchase of any item inside of the store to receive the free five gallons of gasoline to fill their tanks. The Grow Green store was giving away five gallons of free gasoline to 180 customers on that Friday to gain some business as well as doing their customers a favor by meeting their need to get gasoline in their auto tanks since it is better to give than to receive in order to gain new customers at their store. The store has this tradition called "Free Stuff Fridays" which has been a success for the gardening store in Michigan.

With gas so expensive I hope the store doesn’t go broke.

@RubyHawk It appears that the store has to get rid of a lot of inventory.

@Deepizzaguy Actually, I am doing it when buyers bought some of my items online and added some freebies before the shipment lately. I indulge myself with it starting last month.

It is one good way to get customers by giving away some items in exchange for a purchase.

I'd say, not many people tend to give free items nowadays, since they all think that 'all comes with a price'. But I say this plan is genius.

I agree with you since giving away a few gallons of gasoline for one day is a good marketing act.
