My red roses look fantastic. The spring came fast to Dallas. Last night it rained like cats and dogs. Hope everyone at myLot has a Marvelous Monday. Peace.

You all need the rain, though. Not just four and a half inches at once. I was watching weather coverage of the storms in the panhandle and that’s what their rainfall rate was. Have a great day!

Thank you. The rain seems to fall too hard in some areas while leaving places that need it more dry and hot and suffer extreme drought. Peace to you 4 walls.

We need gentle and steady rain during the night.

@much2say Thank you. I look after her 24/7 and recently my older brother passed on his 77th birthday on on January 18. I spend most of my time at home, and go to mass one or two or three times a week. Planting flowers adds beauty to an other wise bland back yard. :)

I am always around but do not post a lot here. I spend more time in church these days. And stay at home looking after my wife, who is sick and dying. Peace.

@lookatdesktop I knew your wife was having trouble the last time we talked. I'm very sorry that's happening to her. And yes, I can easily understand you taking care of the flowers for that reason. I've kept you both in my thoughts since the last time we talked.

My wife fell a couple of times and has been in the ER a few times. Her heart is failing and she has CKD so I spend most of the time looking after her. The flowers are something she loves so I make sure I take care of them so she has something beautiful to look at as she looks out the window.

Yes, it is starting to look a lot greener out there. My sole surviving wild flower has bloomed in the front planter. It is so tall I can see from where I am sitting!

I planted some Forget Me Not seeds today. Hopefully they will eventually come up. The temps range at the current date, from lows in the 50s at night to as high as the mid or upper 80s by afternoon.

@lookatdesktop think I shall make a trip to the shops and grab some bedding plants to add some more colour to the front planter

My brother passed away on Jan. 18th at age 77 on his birthday. My sister came down from Indiana and we went to my older brother, John Jr.'s graveside burial and services. My younger brother is in Hospice care with end stage COPD. I have gone back to the church of my faith, Catholic and have been doing Bible study on a daily basis. My wife has AFIB and GRAVES so I have a lot on my plate. But God is making my life a lot more meaningful as I pray a lot and do Bible study on a daily basis. Peace.

To be honest I spend less time online these days. I post on Twitter, Facebook and am constantly doing research on these two topics, Climate Change and Covid-19 but also lately I have been keeping up with Ukraine war.

I have bought a recent rose that was planted after the last cold snap but it so far has not grown as expected The roses that are there now are about 3 or more years old so far.

I am doing the best I can and basically am spending a lot more time at church. My brother passed recently and I have been quite unhappy but my church has made a difference and my faith has never been stronger.
