Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo? Did you celebrate? I had a doctor's appointment yesterday; and after that we went out to Olive Garden for dinner. I had chicken parm, rotini, salad and bread sticks. It was OK but not great. It's going to rain for 2 days; and then the weather is going to be hot and dry. What's your weather like?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Olive Garden - Chicken parm, rotini, salad and bread sticks.
Dessert/Snack - Lemon cake and decaf coffee
Dinner - No dinner
What did you have to eat yesterday?

It's raining daily for some time in the late afternoon and evening. It's predicted to be same for coming few days. So, it's a pleasant weather here.

I like your thinking: celebrate Cinco de Mayo by going to an Italian-ish restaurant!
I did go to Chuy’s (see how brave I am? Got out of my house AND went to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo!) and had a chicken taco salad. It was big so it served as dinner, too.
I’m still trying to figure out why everyone wants a sink full of mayo…..

Your lunch sounds good. I think our son and grandson are taking us to a Mexican place for Mother's Day on Saturday. Today I cooked a meat loaf, black eyed peas, roasted potatoes, and corn bread.

Rain here too and looks like ti will continue though the weekend. I hope Sunday is nice for Mothers Day.
WE had pasta last night for dinner and a side salad. Didn't resemble Cino de Mayo though
