Can't Wait To See More Flowers

The warm weather is not coming very fast around here and it is slowing down the flowers that we can see in the yard.
One of them that I have a lot is the orange day lilies. I have so many that I might remove some soon as it is taking too much space and it is growing bigger every year.
But I will have to pay someone for digging them up as it is not possible for me anymore to do the work like I used to. I sure miss those days.

Orange lilies..they are so gorgeous.
Good to take a help when you don't feel that you can do it alone. I have hired a gardener to help me. Now I don't have a strength like I had in 20s and 30s. Also, I have a lot to take care of. So, a little help always makes it easier

@marlina Agree. Today I called my household help to help me clean the roof and ceiling fans. So we finished the living room, bar room and my master bedroom. Two people at work is always better

I have a few bunches of those lilies although mine are the burnt orange variety. I think I also have one of the yellow. I was thinking they were bushing out earlier this year compared to other years but maybe I'm just not remembering correctly.

@MarshaMusselman , I guess we should keep track of the dates on our calendar.

@marlina I've never kept track before. And our April was colder than usual so I was afraid the new shoots would die. Maybe they always start growing in April I don't remember.

I am waiting too. I have planted several seasonal flowers and hoping they will yield.

The weather has been on the cooler side, but we got some rain. So I'm greatful for that. Nature can be slow, I am sure.

I am looking forward to flowers on my patio. Lots and lots of green in my garden boxes, but no flowers yet.

Lovely lilies I like the orange color, It was always great to see the tulips popping up and the lilacs blooming in May in my garden in Latvia, I miss that. Even the apple trees were in bloom,

It’s such a shame that all the beautiful flowers can’t stay blooming all year long, or at least longer than just the spring time. Everywhere I look is so beautiful right now with all the blooms.

It's going to be in the 80s here today...finally. A little too warm; but I will take it. We need to have someone work on our front flower bed. It's all weeds.

It gets expensive paying people to do things. Today was a fairly cool day but quite hot in the sun. I think I overdressed a bit.

I am slowly digging mine up and moving them. They can take the yard over for all I care

It's frustrating when you can't do the work yourself any more. Another reminder that we're getting older.
