Thanks to the teamwork of the Anderson Police Department and the animal control officers who responded to an emergency call from a concerned citizen who reported seeing two cows running around in a neighborhood near the Anderson University campus about 15 days ago. The cause of the incident began when a trailer that was driven by someone who admitted that the cows managed to run away from the trailer when he stopped at a traffic stop which opened up a door which was an invitation for the two cows to leave where they were inside of the trailer and roam into the open area. One of the cows was captured when an animal control officer used a tranquilizer gun to kayo one of the cows. The other cow was captured was also safely recaptured by another animal control officer. The good news is that no animal or human was injured in the incident that is rare since trailers that are driven by drivers on a road are usually closed tight. I guess the trailer which housed the two cows that ran away two weeks ago in South Carolina was an act of being careless.

Glad the cows were caught and didn't get hurt (or hurt anyone else). Must have been funny though to see cows running around the neighborhood

@Marilynda1225 I am sure it was very funny since it does not happen everyday.

Loose cows on a highway could lead to some nasty accidents.

It’s lucky it didn’t cause car wrecks. At least the cows were caught and taken care of.
