Had a few bananas that needed to be used. So I baked a loaf of homemade banana nut bread. Had some walnuts to add as well. Smells so good in here.
I usually don't bake on these warm days. But I was cleaning out and realized the bananas were ready to use.
I just sliced the loaf after it cooled. Added some butter and oh my was it good.
I may skip dinner. Bananas are good for you. So why not I say.
Hoping you have had a good Friday so far. 4:30 here and it has been a good day.
Will write a bird update later. All is good. Anyone have any good news to share?
Photo is mine.

I can smell your picture
Today has been restful for us. Had some rain overnight and for a short period this morning. They are still talking like we will have off/on again showers through early next week. I wish we would have a steady rain for a couple of hours. We need that more than sporadic sprinkles.
Looking forward to your bird update

Your bread looks delicious. I want to bake banana bread so badly right now, but I think I'm going to use the bananas in a smoothie instead. As I've written, I'm trying to eliminate gluten for a while. And if I bake a loaf of banana Walnut bread, I'll eat the whole darn thing in one day!

@CarolDM I am doing some self research and using an elimination diet to see if I might be one of them.

That looks delicious.
I have one of those pans that has a number of little loaf pans in it, like a muffin tin, but not.
Being smaller, they take less baking time.
I might pick up some bananas tomorrow with the idea of baking some little loaves next week-thanks for the great idea.
