house got partially destroyed by super typhoon odette(rai) / myLot

It's been more than 5 months now and we still haven't recovered. Fortunately we have some savings, the problem is just the people to work on the house. Since the entire city was affected too. The winds were really strong, I did not expect our house to get damaged so bad. I do regret delaying the fixes, now we have lots more to do. Roof, electricity, ceiling, plumbing, furniture.

I am just so glad we have some relatives who let us stay in their house for free. But I really miss our house.

it has stood strong for almost 17 years.

unfortunately no. We do have enough savings to cover the cost though

@lady1993 Oh my goodness, this is horrible. In case of "natural disasters", the government usually covers the damages.

I notice that the typhoons seem to attack your country more often. That's so terrible to see the loss. I hope your house will be fixed soon and there will be less big typhoons.

yeah, typhoons seem to become stronger these past few years. I guess it's because of climate change.
