Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 77 degrees, humid, and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is supposed to get up to 90 degrees today. I shut the windows and turned on the AC because it was already feeling sticky in here.
I was up at 7 am this morning. I was out with my dad last night seeing a friend's band. I got back here around 10 and decided to just go straight to bed instead of staying up and messing around on here.
My family is at the beach today. I didn't want to go, though, because while it is going to be hot today the ocean is still freezing cold so you can't go in it to cool off. I mean it is only 56 degrees F. You can't even put your feet in that! I learned many years ago that it is no fun to go sweat your butt off at the beach when you can't get into the water to cool off. So I'm staying here.
No plans for the day and that is okay. I think I'm going to mess around in the kitchen. I have a cookie recipe that I want to try with my new food processor. I also am going to make homemade merguez. I'm sure I'll go down and hang out with the Moroccans later on too.

I just finished lunch (chicken burrito and rice). I need to pick up some more yogurt before I go home. We may have severe weather this afternoon.
By the way, the piped-in music here in the restaurant just played “When the Sun Goes Down.” You’re welcome.

Too bad about the beach. I'm just trying to catch up on Noise.Cash and MyLot. Then I need to call DISH TV and give them a piece of my mind and then call Dell to see if they can find any evidence of a hardware problem with my computer. Have a good day and an even better weekend.

I have no plans for today. It is chilly here and there´s nothing much to do. I´ll mylot and watch TV. Later on, I´ll go to the kitchen to put some chard to cook for a chard cream.

You're right about not going to the beach if you can't go in the water to cool off. I'm sure next weekend it will be crowded for Memorial Day.
