Charade came out in 1963 and was such a cute movie. Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. Need I say more? It is described by the critics as being a 'finely crafted thriller' and that it is. It is a Hitchcock film so it is well done.
This is a silly film about a woman who has just lost her husband and is trying to find out what happened. She is pursued by three crooks out to get the money they think her husband left with her. She meets a charming stranger who says he's a this and then the next time she meets up with him he says he is someone else. Grant is actually a U.S.Treasury agent but that doesn't come out until toward the end of the movie. He keeps telling her he is someone else.
A lot goes on in 113 minutes. It is full of surprises and the chemistry between Cary and Audrey is heavy. It's a must-see.

Although, sounds funny with colorful shows right now, I still love movies in black and white. Lol.

I love Audrey Hepburn too. Like her acting in My Fair Lady.

Oh, I did too. And have watched again several times. A good one never gets old in my book.

I don't have many CDs. I either tape on my DVR and leave it there to watch again or wait for it to come back on one of the cable channels.

@celticeagle - I have many DVDs, we can buy 8 every month with the money we would spend for Netflix subscription.

Yes, they certainly do. The way people were back then and the way the film is done. It sure has changed.

Classic movies that came out when I was a very young boy back in the former Canal Zone in Panama had great stories to share with their viewers.

Sure is. Even in black and white a good movie is worth watching again.
