Yesterday I lost another day.

Good morning, friends. The day is gray here and wet but not rainy. Just enough to stall home. I have noticed that when I go to the doctor, I often lose one day. I come back very tired, go to bed thinking that itt is for a nap and discover that it was a long nap. After a long time, I realise that it wasn´t a nap but that I had not waken up at all that day. I used to check the day in my laptop but now tthe page has changed and it only tells the weather. So I have to guess what day of the week it is by routines in my life. I´m glad that I discovered about this because now I fill early Luna´s dish. It is not her fault that I´m losing my memory. I´m writing this post after having read the last of @TheHorse posts. I could make a list of the "cognitive errors" I make. Lately I have been thinking when will I decide that it is the time to sell my house and find a senior home. I dred that though.

I hope that you'll think positively that instead of thinking losing one day every day, you're thinking positively that "Thank God that I have another day passed. Give me another fruitful day."

I don´t really worry about it because I am retired.

@marguicha Yes. Religiously wise, some of the people when already retired thinking that they're losing one day every day. Although, I don't have the say because I'm only 44 years old with lots of body pains due to my work, however, my thinking is for my family, "Thank God that I have another day passed. Give me another fruitful day tomorrow."

@luisga814 I did not mean the loss of one day in that sense. It was just that I thought it was Friday and it was Saturday. I´m 76 years old.

I've just replied to @TheHorse's post too. I forget words and forget how to spell words. I always prided myself on my spelling but it looks like the 'fall' is coming now, as regards 'Pride Comes Before A Fall'.

I am trying to accept all that. Specially since my world in gone. I lived in a wonderful era and was part of it. But this extreme technology is for my grandchildren. I can´t understand that people now "date" in Facebook.

I am going to read the post of The Horse in a few minutes. Aging we all have "senile moments".

My memory isn't working, as it should. At times, I look on MyLot to find out what the date is, then glance up on my wall calendar. One time, we napped all day, then slept all night, also. That was many years ago, in the first house.

I worry about Luna although many people have told me that they won´t have problems if they have water.

@marguicha Kobe was always ready for food, he would eat almost any time. I had to be careful, he was getting too heavy.

We both get tired whenever we have to go out somewhere. It takes a day to recover. We hope that we don't have to go to a senior home anytime soon. Have a good week.

I had one of those days today. I could "claim" to have been productive. I sent a loudspeaker home that I had restored (cha ching), deposited some money in the bank, talked for two hours to a friend/business partner in Montana, and worked on the underbelly of a stereo component. But in the end, I took a nap that overlapped with this night's sleep. Tomorrow I awaken with the sunrise and go to work.
