Welcome to the Sunday edition of the odd news of the day that happened on April 28 which was on Thursday afternoon at a Wal Mart in Colorado Springs Colorado. A shopper who was shopping inside the store who did not reveal if it was a he or she filmed a rabbit that starting to eat plants that were on a shelf. What is kind of odd is how did the rabbit get inside of the Wal Mart store in the first place and why did the shopper who was filming the incident did not report the incident to an employee or a member of the management team that a rabbit was eating the inventory inside of the store. Since the shopper must have left the area where the incident happened, it is not known what happened to the rabbit who was seen eating the plants inside of the store.

I agree with you since rabbits are smarter than people think.

That was a brave rabbit to walk into Walmart and eat his dinner. It must have been an escaped pet.

That is what I think happened that the rabbit got loose from his owner or an animal shelter.

@RubyHawk I remember going to pet stores many years ago with my relatives and I agree that the animals are cute.

The rabbit most likely snuck in from the back while the store employees were distracted.

@oahuwriter Yes the rabbit must have been very hungry to get inside the store and eat the food. .

That's unfair. That shopper is inconsiderate. She should report it.

I was thinking the same thing. She is not a news hound. She should be thinking how would she like it if the shoe was on the other foot.

Interesting. My husband and son work at Lowe's and there has been stories they have told about employees seeing squirrels in the rafters, they build nests. Animal control has been called but it still can be a problem.

I guess animals like to travel to buildings where there is food since they want to be fed since they are losing their homes in the name of progress.

That is much better than the snake you mentioned, I fact if I had seen that bunny I would have take it and then bought it some lettuce to enjoy,

I have seen squirrel running across the street in my home via the wires in the light posts but not any rabbits.
