Time to publish a poetry book

I’ve published all the poetry books for a fellow poet and writer and he wants me to do another book for him.
I’ve been putting it off because my dad was in the hospital and then passed away. But it’s time to get it done.
It’s gonna be a limerick book. I’m glad that he is willing to pay me for this as usual. I could use some extra money.
Maybe after this I will finally start working on my own poetry books that I had started a while back and have put on hold.

Lulu made a big upgrade to their site and publishing wizard during the pandemic. And it ain't great. Their cover creator thing is very limited in what you can do so is no good. Then they have this integration with Canva for cover creation. That one is hard to figure out how to use to create a cover where the dimensions are just as they should be. Someone I know on FB had to revise her book 10 times and even now it's not 100% the way she wants it. And each time you revise you have to buy proof copy.

I managed to create a full cover for this guy, however, I am not sure if the dimensions are what they should be.

Sorry to hear the passing away of your dad.
Limericks are good poem of the Japanese. I once composed a Limericks. It's fun and uplifting for me to hone my innate wisdom about literary.

I have to get myself to get back into writing content for it first. But maybe. Will see how this guy's book turns out. I have not published any books since lulu updated their site and publishing wizard.

I did the (front) cover for the guy, which looks more professional than what he sent me to use but he still wants to use his lol. So all that time I spent creating that cover was a waste. And now I had to spend time creating a new cover based on his original, which I don't even know if he will like or tell me to make changes.

I'm sure you'll enjoy doing this for your friend. Limericks are fun to write.

Yes. The publishing process isn't what it used to be on Lulu before the pandemic. Doing full covers now proves to be an issue.
