Someone asked me why I look so contented and that too on my birthday This is what I said to them "I can walk, I can talk, sleep, eat, hear, see, write, and most important of all I have a good memory and much more" I am a senior and many those around me do not have quite a few of what I have listed above. The saddest thing is some have lost their memory. Are you happy and contented?

Yes, for the most part I'm happy and contented. I'd like grocery prices to stop going up, but there's nothing we can do about that.

From previous posts l remember you like chocolates , do you still indulge? They say chocolates give you a happy feeling , l only recently started having dark chocolate occasionally. I chose the "After Eight" brand.

Yes I do. I keep buying them and also I get gifts. I have yet to acquire a taste for dark chocolate though

That's a great attitude you have there! When I feel the need to vent about something like my bad back or income, I try to remind myself there are always people who are worse off than me. And I need to count my blessings more. I like this quote which kind of sums up things.

I am a senior and I do not work. Yes I have my own house. Have investments.
