An Ohio state trooper rescues a kitten on a highway

Ohio State Trooper Jacob Olsen was riding in his auto on a road in Lebanon Ohio on Saturday afternoon when he saw a male kitten by himself that needed his help.
Officer Olsen took the kitten to the local headquarters where a dispatcher named Mary Blust who will adopt the kitten and call him "Trooper" since Officer Olsen found the kitten on a road and he showed compassion to take him to headquarters where the kitten will now find a new home.
These kind of stories are my favorites since I am now starting to like cats a lot since they make wonderful companions.

I am glad the kitten was rescued but I would like to know what a kitten was doing on the highway. If my two kittens got on a roadway there would only be two pancakes left with ears.

Very cute little kitten. I too did not love cats earlier but I love them now though I can't keep them inside my house as I can't look after them. I keep them in my portico, though big ones and feed them.

The same here since my relatives cannot to have any more cats in our home. However we do feed them food from the cat food cans inside of the home that is used to feed the five cats inside the home.

@Deepizzaguy I feel bad but don't have any option. I have kept a carton in the portico over a trunk. The cats rest there whenever they like.
