The Universe Had Other Plans

How is everyone doing this rainy Saturday morning?
Reusing one of my previous photos.
Anyway, the universe had other plans for me. Happened twice. The first was last Thursday, I planned to drop by the nearby boxing gym. It is located right between my office and my condo so the location is good. Going there though requires that I walk, not a problem but if it rains, it becomes uncomfortable. So I was on my way but the rain started pouring. Good thing, I was near the train station when the rain started so I ditched my plan and just went home. Kept myself dry. I guess going to the boxing gym will have to wait.
The second one plan that I had to change was this morning. Went to a government office to settle a loan. Been there a couple of times on a Saturday and it was always open. Just last Saturday, I was there as well. Going on a weekend is cool and all because there are less people and it takes a shorter time to complete transactions. Of course, when I got there, I was informed that the office doesn't open on Saturday anymore.
So there - two plans that did not push through because the universe had other plans. I wonder if there was a multiverse where these plans of mine pushed through?

@allen0187 It looks more like what happened to our recent election results. It seems the universe has somehow didn't favor us so we have to move forward and hope for the best in every one of us.

Yup. I was kidding with my buddies at work. In the morning up to late afternoon, the weather of the country is summer. In the evening, the season changes to a rainy one.

@allen0187 it's transitioning from dry to rainy season and it seems like the dry season does not want to give up us yet, next thing we know is we will be getting ready again for some typhoons.

I guess so.
I just wanted to react accordingly. Like what you wrote, some things we cannot control. I cannot control the situation so I just controlled my reaction to it.

I would be very frustrated had that happened to me. I remember my husband going back to PAGIBIG several times just to apply for a loan just because he was not properly informed of what documents to bring. What a waste of time and energy. I hope your plans push through. Who knows, something better might just come.

Decided to come back yesterday, Monday. their payment system was down and had to wait for an hour. Decided to just leave and pay at a authorized payment center. Was done after 15 minutes.
