Good Morning From the River

K and I are camping by the river this weekend. The campground is near my mom. We are going to have her, my sister, and my brother-in-law over for lunch tomorrow.
The little guy in the picture came to visit us this morning just as we were about to start breakfast. Ace was outside with me and didn't even notice him. Mr. Squirrel got a little too bold and climbed down for the fence and started to move closer. Ace noticed him then and chased him up a tree.
We will be here until Monday. Then, it's back to school for 2 1/2 days.

@DWDavis We went and saw a friend earlier, and we have to go see another one after awhile. Then we are loading up and getting the heck out of town for a little while.

Have a great time! I’m just relaxing, maybe going to some local parks to walk (the weather is perfect today). We have our semi-annual “Hike, Bike, and Paddle” fitness event on Monday and I might go to that. It’s cool: down on the waterfront, lots of exercise (one year I played pickle ball with our mayor!), and a nice day to be outdoors with a few thousand neighbors
