Life has its ups and downs, but we can find something to celebrate, including life itself. There are milestones in our lives and those of family members, holidays, national days, achievements and so on. How do you prefer to celebrate? - a quiet get together at home, dining out at a restaurant, a picnic in the park, throwing a big party with barbecue and all, visiting a casino or going to church. Of course it depends too on the occasion for the celebration When last did you celebrate something? Pixabay image

We usually went to the all you eat buffet or had a get together and cook out! But our favorite was the all you can eat buffet for every occasion, especially birthdays.

@Kandae11 these were restaurants and you can put whatever you want on your plate. The food was on kiosk. I'll upload a picture.

Is the all you can eat buffet located in a hotel?

Since the pandemia started, my gatherings have been with few people at one time. I mostly celebrate either at my home or at the home of one of my friends or family.

That has been my way too. Or we go to an uncrowded beach.

I like quiet celebrations, a couple of friends and at home, except our wedding anniversary that we always celebrated dining at a restaurant. The last celebration, my husband birthday, the 14th of May, the two of us at home.

I had three family members birthdays in May - my mother who lives in Canada , my brother who lives in the city and a sister who is deceased. The next celebration will be my son's birthday on June 17.

It really depends on the situation. We celebrated brother in law's birthday on Sunday.

Yes it depends. The celebration of my son's birthday in a couple of weeks will be a quiet family gathering at home.

I like to celebrate by dining out with the family. Last time we had a party at home was a few days ago.

@Kandae11 yes I also hate crowds. And it's frustrating when you have to wait in a restaurant.

I like dining out too, but the restaurant must have a nice atmosphere and not crowded.

I like having a celebration party. The last time was for our wedding and before that on how many years we have lived together.

A picnic in the park would be my first choice. With a hike or a golf game. Not in a restaurant.

Long time I didn't have any celebration. Moreover it's very hot here and I don't like gathering in summer.

We haven't had a big party for a long time due to the Pandemic. Last celebration was my brother's birthday. We had a family gathering at his place.

I think family gatherings are safest for now. Covid is still around - and l don't think it has plans to leave anytime soon.
