I Think My Greenbelt Here Is Nice But...

I have enjoyed our greenbelt here in Boise for many years. It starts up at Lucky Peak in eastern Boise and goes along the Boise River and on the west to Eagle. All together with both sides of the river included it goes for about 30 miles.
I am reading about the Appalachian Trail. I have never been on it. It is a foot(only)path. I know that many movies and documentaries have been made about it with stories of people who tried to make the entire trek. It is 2,200 miles starting in Maine and going down to Georgia.
Have you ever been on it?

What is this greenbelt? In my first glance, I thought this is one of the belts in martial arts.

@Nakitakona ......There is some, yes, But, it is a pathway. Dirt and in some spots asphalt.

Thank you for the mention of your greenbelt I wrote about a trail that goes through the Boise Foothills in my armchair travel blog. I know about the Appalachian Trail but have never been on it.

I have never been on the Appalachian Trial even though I have shared stories of persons taking the trek and some of them have been successful in completing the trek.
