Garden Salad For Dinner

Salad was enjoyed for dinner. A fresh garden salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, artichokes, croutons and ranch dressing. More rain is coming soon. Should be a rainy night. Sounds great to me. Hopefully it will be good sleeping weather. And the plants and flowers will appreciate the rain. I hope the baby bluebirds stay in the house at least one more night. I will worry about them in the rain. Kind of silly as their home will be the outdoors. But that is how much I think of these birds. I am sure the parents will keep them safe. Photo is mine.

We have the window open here, and it is teaming down rain so hard. I had to ask my hubby if he's ever heard it rain so hard. They were calling for 10 mm maybe we just got it all in the past 5 minutes.

@CarolDM We had a couple of claps of thunder, I hope that the majority of the rain comes tonight. I don't like thunderstorms, and I will be alone tomorrow as I drive to our son's place. I have a steel plate in my head, and I always fear it attracting lightening to strike me.

I am sure the blue birds will be fine. I had some vegetables and they were cooked in the form of chop suey. I sometimes have vegetable salad but the family members are not found of it.

That is what I am going to have in a bit..but we ran out of tomatoes..and now I ordered some from Walmart..but they were out of vine tomatoes and just replaced them with those horrid ones I dont like..and they wont be here til 7PM
