This day we rented a private pool in a secluded area. We enjoy swimming, cooking barbecue for lunch, sing in the videoke without other stranger just my family. I enjoy the Kubo or hut or cottage. When we go home we drop by to Bag of Bean cafe and restaurant. We eat slices of cake, empanada, drink cold drinks and milkshakes. Had a great day

OH WOW, it must cost a fortune to rent a private pool.

It won't cost a fortune, the Philippines has thousands if not tens of thousands of private pools and resorts for rent spread all over the country in thousands of islands and coves. 1 Swiss franc is around 54 php. You can rent a decent place place overnight for 10,000 or less so that's just 185 sf. Just have a trusted local friend with you to avoid getting scammed or locals taking advantage. Going on tour is much more expensive than doing a DIY if you have local friends.

I think it's affordable. It's an 8 year old resort so it's really not new and just have one pool

I love Tagaytay, I'm glad you had a great day. I would be going there on the 19th, actually my 2 sons, me and our team of mountain climbers will scale the summit of mount Batulao ( 811 MASL), in Nasugbu Batangas on a day hike. Tagaytay will be the side trip after the climb plus free " Batagas lomi I know what you felt, I miss the place, my father use to bring us up there often when we were kids.

@averygirl72 it's good there are many new roads now, yes it's a bit far if you are coming from Bulacan.
