My shirt must die...

...or, at least Mama cat thinks so.
I typically keep a T-shirt on the back of the couch in case of unexpected company. It's not much of an issue now that we own the house, but it's still a habit of mine. Everyday, Mama cat gets in a playful mood, and my t-shirt became the target of her most recent case of the zooms. She kept pawing at it, as if it were going to attack. It was fun to watch.

@RubyHawk Yes, she was. And, she thinks she's accomplished her mission.

String toys are a good way to engage your cat and protect your skin.

Thats true but we've destroyed all her string and feather toys plus she's 16 now and isn't into playing very much anymore ..... I'm not sure if I'm glad or sad about that.

They truly are entertaining when they get into their 'zooms'. I always get a kick out of when they all of a sudden fall fast asleep after their high energy running, jumping and attacking.

Or maybe she thinks it'll bite back.

It's a good thing the shirt in question wasn't on my body, then.

Pets are very imaginative it seems making your shirt into an imaginary playmate or a toy.
