Leah is reminding fans of Tom Cruise's connection to Scientology. All this amid his face being splashed continually across our screens due to the new "Top Gun" movie coming out. I am almost sure that someone will respond to this by saying she is just jealous of his stardom. She is the celebrity and ex-member who had a docuseries on tv a few years ago blowing the whistle big time on Scientology and how people who were trying to get out of the cult are being treated. Even had some ex-converts telling their scary stories of trying to leave the cult and how their family members treated them. I also try to keep up on any news of the CEO's wife. She began to have some issues with the cult and she hasn't been heard from for several years now. No close friends have heard anything and no one knows where she is.
I have a lot of questions about this so-called religion. Hubbard, the founder, got the cult established as a religion early on so he didn't have to pay any taxes. They get millions of dollars out of victims who join and have to keep paying more and more for the also silly programs they offer.

I support Leah Remini 100 percent. I read her biography where she talks about getting out of that Cult. It is an evil cult.

Yes, it is. I've also heard some wild things about Jehovah's Witness.

I would steer very clear of Scientology.

Good idea. My daughter says we have one down the street ways too. I feel bad for anyone who falls for their rhetoric.

What religion is this? Why it becomes occult? What do they teach? I'm just curious to know.

It is not a religion. Not 'occult' but 'cult'. They mostly do self-improvement programs. Not a religion but, they get the religious tag so they didn't have to pay taxes on all the money they are making from unknowing people.

@celticeagle That's the so-called "high way robbery" in a broad daylight. I should say.
