Going to the little Tesco - in the heat!

I've just been to the little Tesco again, and it was really hot out again! I went out without a coat. As I was going through the door my Mum said to me, "Aren't you going to wear a coat?" And I just said, " No" and walked out the door. I had to bring the trolley in and out of the front door again today because Mum still hasn't dismantled the old one! The neighbour across the road put a letter through our door last night letting us know she's lost a kitty cat. It is tabby and it is a rescue and it is 2 years old. She doesn't think it was abused by its former owner but it is very nervous. She's only had it 2 weeks. She wasn't going to let it outside until she was sure it would come back, but last Friday when it was very hot she opened the patio door a bit too far and it escaped, and she hasn't seen it since. She said it could be hiding in someone's shed or garage, and if anyone finds it not to approach it because it will probably run away scared again, but to just keep it in and phone her up. So as I was going shopping I was keeping my eye out for the kitty cat but I didn't see it. I hope she manages to find it. Today I got 2 TV magazines, ginger nut buscuits, crunch cream biscuits, penguin biscuits, strawberries, tin of peach slices, Alpen cereal for me, egg custard tarts, marshmallows, 3 bars of chocolate (I'm treating myself to a mint aero!), 2 bottles of milk, small vegan yogurts for me and some vegan Magnum choc ices for me in this heat! It came to £26 something! I think my Mum was expecting more change! I walked home in the heat again. There wasn't even a breeze! And no sign of the cat. There was a van blocking part of the path as I was coming towards my house. I was just going to pass it along the part of the path that was not blocked and a guy in the van said, "Can you get past there love?" And I said, "Yes, thank you," and he said, "OK." I was happy to get into the relative cool of our living room. I unpacked the shopping and told Mum about my adventure. We're having soup today, despite the heat. Butternut squash flavour today!
