Good day to you all, hope you all are having a good one.
We are having yet another way to hot of a day and I am not liking it at all. Right now (3:15pm) it is 96F (35C) but with humidity they say it feel like 104F (40C). All I know for sure is it is way to hot out there. First day of summer and I am already getting sick of it. I don’t mind it being a little warm out but 104 is a bit too much for me.
Seen one of the gas stations along the way to work today at a nice $5.19 a gallon, thanks Biden. Most of them were at $4.99 even the cheapest one was at $4.97. Remember when Trump said if Biden becomes president we would see 5, 6, 7 dollar a gallon prices and all the Dems were like oh he’s an idiot, we are not going to see that, there is no way…. hmm how you all feeling about that now?
Now I hear about this “gas tax holiday”. Now I’m no expert on this and not sure I even understand it, but I guess that means Biden is talking about lowering the tax or stopping the tax on gas but then I read it is going to be a total of 18 cents. Wow, that will really help LOL.
Since he took office gas prices have almost doubled here so not sure how 18 cents are going to help me out. I used to fill up the tank for about $30 and now it is nearly $60 so with my car I am not sure how $1.80 cheaper is going to help me out. Not to even mention the extra it is costing me for food and everything else.
I’m one of the lucky ones I make enough to get by, but I am sure there are a lot of people hurting and I’m not sure when this might turn around. It’s not looking good at this point at all.

@Bensen32 This is really stupid, I have read that now he wants to go to Saudi Arabia to ask for more oil. You have it! Why to give money to those people? Not to mention that he wanted the sanctions against Russia and Russia is making deals with the Arabs and is giving oil at 50% discount to China. What a great mind Biden!!!

Offering a gas tax holiday is the stupidest idea ever. It does nothing to address the real issue, and that’s a shortage of the supply of gasoline. If anything, it’s going to add to the problem because people will use the temporarily cheaper gasoline to travel more over the holiday, thus increasing demand and making the fuel shortage worse in the long run.

I am used to 6 dollors/gallon around Orlando and Disney or any of the major theme parks here in Florida. But, 4 is a bit high for the normal places that have less demand. So, I don't know what to think anymore. I just know that I don't like seeing this. And, this isn't just a summer thing.
Reminds me of what it was like in '03. Although not near as bad.
As for the heat, we had a bit of a reprieve today, but Thursday and Friday it's supposed to be 96. Yeah, no. I am not liking that idea.

In Brazil we are also facing high prices. Joe Biden does not inspire so much respect internationally. He is weak. I hope that the American people will not be looking at celebrity appeal in the presidential elections. A country the size of the United States has to be run by strong leadership.
