Going to the big Tesco again.

Yesterday afternoon we went to the big Tesco again. It was hot again so I went without a coat. I had a large book and a DVD boxset to give to the Tesco book swap so my bag was very heavy. After putting the recycle in the recycle receptacle as usual and going up on the lift to the main shop, I went to look for some Art magazines. But the only one they had was the one I've already got, which was the very last one of my subscription, so no joy there. I wasn't sure if I was going to get a sandwich for tomorrow because I've got to go and get my repeat prescription again and so I thought maybe I'd kill some time by getting lunch at either 24 Market Street (the pub), or No.19 (the cafe opposite the Cathedral). But I got a sandwich anyway and if I don't eat it tomorrow down town I can always save it for later. We got the usual things. We didn't need any flowers this time. But unfortunately I couldn't find any plant based Philadelphia cream cheese. I hate it when that happens! We got to the till and my Mum went and sat on a nearby bench. When I'd put all our groceries on the conveyer belt, and I got to the other end, the lady on the till said, "Hi, there. Don't you usually come with your Mum?" And I said, "Yeah, she's over there," and I pointed to where she was! After we'd paid for our groceries, I went and sat on the bench with my Mum and drank some of my water. Then I went and changed my book (and DVD) at the Tesco book swap. It was a relief to lighten my bag! At about 4:10pm we went back down on the lift to wait for my step-dad. When he came, he just chucked the bags in the boot with no care for the items that were inside! I had to pick up a couple of bags and replace a few items that had fallen out into the bottom of the boot! Fortunately it was just Mums incontinence pads that had fallen out, but I just wish he'd be more careful with the bags! We went home and I unpacked everything and I had my dinner. My Mum went to the Life Group from Church again last night and she tells me that the people who host it in their house have four new kittens from the ferrell cat that sometimes lodges with them! Only two weeks old! How cute! I wish I could have seen them. How was your day?
