The Avon Duck Tape Festival

Did you know there is a Duck Tape Festival each year? There is. It is in Avon, Ohio, and was from June 16 through June 18 this year. It is a celebration of duct tape but is called the Avon Heritage Duck Tape Festival. They had a parade, food vendors, kids activities-- all the usual festival attributes including artistic creations made of duct tape. Admission was free and the first 500 attendees received a roll of duct tape. It had been canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID outbreak.

I hate to even think. My grandson is the duct man. He makes his war implements and fortifies them with it.

Ah, yes the Red and Green Show. I used to watch it all of the time. There was a movie made with the same characters I believe. They were trying to get this rocket (made of duct tape) to the festival. Pretty funny.

I am familiar with this festival since I live in Ohio. Duct tape can be used for so many things!!!
