Firefighters in Iowa rescue a kitten trapped inside of a pipe

An owner of a kitten in Cedar Rapids Iowa is grateful that the firefighters who are employed by the Cedar Rapids Fire Department answered a call for help around 4 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday that a kitten who must have been curious managed to get inside an eight inch pipe and get stuck.
The names of the Cedar Rapids firefighters were not mentioned due to privacy reasons were able to use an extra long rescue device to get the kitten out of the pipe and reunite the kitten with his owner the same day which made everyone happy.

That was nice of them. Many fire department insurance companies no longer allow them to do such rescues.

It is a shame that many fire department insurance companies are refusing to allow these kinds of rescues anymore.

You are right that the tools used by the firefighters were useful is rescuing the cat from the pipe.

Glad that silly kitten was rescued, What a awful palace to get stuck, I have no real place my kittens could get suck in my apartment but still when I do not see one or the other I am always checking to see that they are all right,
