The most different Sunday ever

We went to a prayer service this morning outside under some lovely trees. A cool breeze and warm sunshine welcomed about thirty of us.
It was at Siloam Church which burned Thursday night. There were people from other churches also and the Methodist District Superintendent and his wife were there.
The service was short, the pastor read some Scripture verses, then everyone visited and recalled memories of Siloam.
It kind of reminded me of covered dish dinners we had years ago outside under huge oak trees. Those trees are gone, also.
No determination yet what caused the fire. I hope it wasn't arson. Several churches in this small community have invited Siloam members to join them or use their church for services.
Afterwards, Dale and I went to lunch with another couple. I need to go to my cousin's house to take her a birthday gift.

@1creekgirl They are certainly do show their likes and dislikes now.
I was holding Willow and my hubby was on the couch beside me holding Harper.
Willow looked at him and started to wail, she wanted him to hold her, not me.
She is longer and feels more comfortable with him.

Really pretty flower. I am glad the church communities are helping out the congregration of Siloam as they should. Sunday was OK here nothing special.

It'll be interesting to see the good that God brings from it. I love the verse that tells us to praise God IN all things (not FOR all things.)
