My cat ran away / myLot

We let the door open because it is so hot. And one of my cats ran away. I am going to take him outside soon. I think cats should be able to enjoy nature. He would love to be outside. But I can't let him outside by himself because he would disappear. He tried to come back and he didn't seem to recognize me.He was afraid of me. My mom could take him inside fast. He was so scared. I am glad that now he is inside again.

I have one fear of letting Burt leave the home so he can take a walk around the neighborhood. It is a good thing that he does come back home after a few hours later.

It is risky to let them outside. They can disappear and we don't know what happened to them.

Cats can enjoy nature without being out in it. A nice window usually does the trick for most cats.

Yes. They watch the window all day long. They love it so much. It is like watching tv for them.

He was too scared to recognize me. He recognized my mom instead.

I am the food provider and his mommy, but cats are funny.

It's rare for a cat to dissappear just like that and you should be letting them out for sometime atleast for them to enjoy nature , mate, practice their natural predatoral roles among others. If the neighborhood is safe , no need to worry and I hope you find it soon

Here all cats disappeared without a trace. They are neutered. There are lots of cars here.
