But it wasnt easy. And I am still tempted to go back to the Amish store. But I dont need another mouth here in the house.

They had some very cute coon hound puppies for sale there. And was only asking 100 dollars each. The ones they had out were all males but she said they had some females in the barn. One male dog here is more than enough of those. We did good at the store. 5 one pound packs of bacon, one package of pinwheel cookies and 2 packs of M&Ms for 25 dollars. They didnt have any ground beef in today. But we have plenty of that. Going to get ready for the auction soon. We will be leaving in less than an hour now. My busy few days are about half ways done now. Hope your day goes good.

I hope you had fun at the auction. Be careful and check out the peaches and strawberries again. They might have some at a good price.

@wolfgirl569 Oh, yeah.... I was getting my dates mixed up. We picked up a bushel of peaches last Saturday and two flats of strawberries. The strawberries mostly went into the freezer for Pretty to make into smoothies during the winter. I'm slowly eating the peaches. (Used to, I'd eat nothing but peaches the whole season and go through 4 or more bushels of them. I'm pre-diabetic now so the doctor told me to stop doing that.

(I haven't been able to eat any peaches today, anyway. My tummy aches and I'm taking turns being hot and cold from the shingles shot yesterday morning. It's fun.)
